Maximo Valdeon was delighted since he was out of position and the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. In the 4th match minute, Zharzhan was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Vitor Abar to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Vitor Abar in the 9th minute of play forced Saint George FC's goalkeeper Marco Aragones to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Costante Ferreras hit a great freekick 10 minutes into the match. Saint George FC's Paiva Mata shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 11th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Maximo Valdeon but with some difficulty. 17 minutes had been played when some careless play by Zharzhan's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Pedro Seral was slow to take the kick. During this time Saint George FC's players had a chance to rest. Pedro Seral made a great header on Saint George FC's corner, it was just that Zharzhan's Maximo Valdeon managed to reach the ball for a save. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Gómez Poblaciàn during the 23rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 23rd minute, Gómez Poblaciàn hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 24th minute Ariel Huberto shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Maximo Valdeon saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the match had gone on for 25 minutes, Ariel Huberto took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Maximo Valdeon to make any attempt to save it. If Umbruso Losa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Umbruso Losa came free with the goalkeeper in the 32nd minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Maximo Valdeon could save by the left post. Alejandro Marti kicked well hit freekick during the 36th minute of the match. When Gómez Poblaciàn was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 38 minutes had been played. In the 39th match minute, Zharzhan was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gómez Poblaciàn to maneuver through the defense. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Umbruso Losa made a kick off. Maximo Valdeon made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ariel Huberto in the 52nd minute of play. Maximo Valdeon showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ariel Huberto in the 55th minute of the match. After 56 played minutes Zharzhan got a freekick which was hit by Alejandro Marti. After some fancy dribbling in the 57th minute, Ariel Huberto managed to get in a good position for a shot. Saint George FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Ariel Huberto was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Maximo Valdeon breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ariel Huberto in the 59th minute of play forced Zharzhan's goalkeeper Maximo Valdeon to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 60th minute, Vitor Abar ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Marco Aragones was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. Maximo Valdeon showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Umbruso Losa, who was totally free with the ball in the 64th minute. In the 66th minute the ball was on its way in behind Zharzhan's goalkeeper Maximo Valdeon, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Maximo Valdeon took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Umbruso Losa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 81 minutes into the game, Costante Ferreras recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Marco Aragones. Costante Ferreras showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-2. Urritz Aquejano fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Maximo Valdeon having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ariel Huberto in the 89th minute of play forced Zharzhan's goalkeeper Maximo Valdeon to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Marco Aragones showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Costante Ferreras in the 93rd minute of the match. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
