Spectators: 6833 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1833, VIP seats: 0) Luis Carbasa shot from long distance in the 6th minute, but Wellington Corroto was prepared and stopped the ball at the left post. The audience was convinced that Navarro Puente's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Johnny Thomas was relentless in the 9th minute of the game. 10 minutes into the game, UD Boqueron's Navarro Puente nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Johnny Thomas made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. After some careless play in the CD Angelita defense, Navarro Puente kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Johnny Thomas. The CD Angelita fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Johnny Thomas should have stopped the shot. The audience thought a goal was coming when Diego Riofrio got free with Wellington Corroto in the 17th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 19 minutes into the match, UD Boqueron's Cristian Guera sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Johnny Thomas narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Cristian Guera fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Johnny Thomas having to interfere. A collision led to UD Boqueron getting a freekick after 28 minutes play. Rodolfo Olmo hit a great ball. If Yoelvis Ascarza had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 37 minutes into the match, UD Boqueron's goal looked a bit too open when Yoelvis Ascarza came free, but Wellington Corroto reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. UD Boqueron's Navarro Puente got a good chance for a goal in the 40th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Rodolfo Olmo struck a weak shot in the 41st minute. Johnny Thomas didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for UD Boqueron. After having played for 47 minutes, Cristian Guera managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. UD Boqueron's supporters crossed their fingers, but Cristian Guera was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

52 minutes into the match, UD Boqueron's goal looked a bit too open when Zavier Granell came free, but Wellington Corroto reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet as UD Boqueron's Cristian Guera slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Johnny Thomas. That made the score 0-3 after 54 minutes of play. In the 65th minute, Zavier Granell hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Johnny Thomas came out of the goal in the 73rd minute to try and stop a shot by UD Boqueron's Navarro Puente. But to his dismay, Navarro Puente quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-4. Wellington Corroto didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Yoelvis Ascarza went, in the 77th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-4 was the resulting score. Rodolfo Olmo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 81st minute. Johnny Thomas tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in CD Angelita's zone, Cristian Guera stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Johnny Thomas came out of the goal and Cristian Guera tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Diego Riofrio in the 94th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Wellington Corroto prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 95 minutes into the game, Rodolfo Olmo was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. UD Boqueron's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave CD Angelita the free kick. The supporters of CD Angelita booed when UD Boqueron was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 95 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rodolfo Olmo didn't get a good kick on the ball.
