After a defensive mix-up in Saint George FC's zone, Armando Acutain stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Marco Aragones came out of the goal and Armando Acutain tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Armando Acutain fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 5th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marco Aragones having to interfere. Umbruso Losa in the 12thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Fernando Garate, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. If Yoelvis Mulas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 15th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Marco Aragones showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Yoelvis Mulas in the 20th minute of the match. Marco Aragones took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Armando Acutain, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Armando Acutain stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. If Fernado Torres had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 55 minutes into the match, Saint George FC's goal looked a bit too open when Marco Ozollo came free, but Marco Aragones reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Fernando Garate showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Umbruso Losa, who was totally free with the ball in the 56th minute. In the 58th minute Umbruso Losa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fernando Garate saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Marco Aragones made a fantastic save in the 66th minute, when Yoelvis Mulas sent off a good shot on target. Armando Acutain received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 67th minute. Marco Aragones tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Marco Aragones made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Yoelvis Mulas in the 68th minute of play. After 71 played minutes UD Shaglli got a freekick which was hit by Agustín Argos. Fernado Torres's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Marco Aragones read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 76th minute of play. 78 minutes into the match, Saint George FC's goal looked a bit too open when Marco Ozollo came free, but Marco Aragones reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 79 minutes into the match, Fernado Torres notched a goal, 0-4, to the right of Saint George FC's Marco Aragones. Marco Aragones was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Fernado Torres was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 85th minute. UD Shaglli's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Marco Aragones made an important save on a dangerous shot by Armando Acutain in the 88th minute. When the match had gone on for 89 minutes, Yoelvis Mulas took a quick shot and it went in 0-5 without a chance for Marco Aragones to make any attempt to save it. Armando Acutain struck a weak shot in the 92nd minute. Marco Aragones didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for UD Shaglli. UD Shaglli's Fernando Garate played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Umbruso Losa in the 95th minute of play. UD Shaglli played a much better game than Saint George FC and deserved their victory. The Saint George FC players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
