Spectators: 8161 (Terracing: 6122, Seating: 1877, VIP seats: 162) Papa Frita Futbol Club's Xicu Echaez started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. When Robin Bermudez fell near the penalty area in the 5th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Warriors FC's protests and gave Robin Bermudez a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Papa Frita Futbol Club booed when Warriors FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 5 match minutes in a wonderful position. Robin Bermudez didn't get a good kick on the ball. Burbano Miño came out of the goal in the 9th minute to try and stop a shot by Papa Frita Futbol Club's Zarbonin Giraldo. But to his dismay, Zarbonin Giraldo quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. Warriors FC's Burbano Miño proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 12th minute of the match, managed to save Warriors FC from getting a goal against them. Xicu Echaez had several of the Warriors FC's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 13 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 2-0 score and a disappointed Burbano Miño as he didn't even see the shot coming. Guamán Arramendia took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alejandro Armona, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Burbano Miño stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Xicu Echaez's shot from short distance in the 19th minute. Zarbonin Giraldo hit a great freekick 25 minutes into the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Xicu Echaez in the 28th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Burbano Miño saved Warriors FC from getting behind. In the 29th minute Xicu Echaez shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Burbano Miño saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Xicu Echaez fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Burbano Miño having to interfere. Zarbonin Giraldo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 34th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Zarbonin Giraldo's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 35thth minute, Burbano Miño skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Burbano Miño was a little too slow when Xicu Echaez got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 37th minute. The score was now 3-0. Xicu Echaez's late challenge caught a Warriors FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Xicu Echaez helped the player get up and apologised. Xicu Echaez hit a great freekick 40 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, Warriors FC's Asencio Robledo got a free kick in the 42nd minute. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Alejandro Armona made the kick off in the second half. When the match clock showed 53 minutes, the score became 4-0 when Xicu Echaez sped through Warriors FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Burbano Miño. After 57 minutes, Xerardo Igarza mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Papa Frita Futbol Club and the Warriors FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Papa Frita Futbol Club getting a freekick after 57 minutes play. Xerardo Igarza hit a great ball. Guamán Arramendia showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bagui Viz in the 58th minute of the match. When Salomon Gallaiztegui fell near the penalty area in the 59th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Papa Frita Futbol Club's protests and gave Salomon Gallaiztegui a yellow card for diving instead. In the 59th match minute, Papa Frita Futbol Club was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Salomon Gallaiztegui to maneuver through the defense. The audience was convinced that Zarbonin Giraldo's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Burbano Miño was relentless in the 71st minute of the game. After a rather tough play, Warriors FC's Vermudo Cedeno got a free kick in the 74th minute. Alejandro Armona sent away a hard shot on goal in the 76th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Xicu Echaez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Warriors FC booed when Papa Frita Futbol Club was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 81 match minutes in a wonderful position. Xerardo Igarza didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 90th minute, Zarbonin Giraldo made a precise shot to the right of Burbano Miño. Warriors FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 6-0. Alejandro Armona's late challenge caught a Papa Frita Futbol Club's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Alejandro Armona helped the player get up and apologised. In the 95th minute, Alejandro Armona hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Warriors FC's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
