Yoelvis Pereta showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Guagua Galarreta in the 8th minute of the match. Yoelvis Pereta made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Xicu Echaez in the 9th minute of play. 13 minutes into the game, UD Zoo's Héctor Iza nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Guamán Arramendia made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. After 21 minutes, Chico Galanes mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Papa Frita Futbol Club and the UD Zoo players grew even worse after the yellow card. Chico Galanes hit a great freekick 21 minutes into the match. Papa Frita Futbol Club's Xicu Echaez got a good chance for a goal in the 24th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Guamán Arramendia showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ferrer Villamil, who was totally free with the ball in the 31st minute. 1-1 became the score in the 35th minute when Xicu Echaez elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Zarbonin Giraldo in the 41st minute of play forced UD Zoo's goalkeeper Yoelvis Pereta to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 42ndth minute of the game Xicu Echaez who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but UD Zoo's Yoelvis Pereta was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After the first half Papa Frita Futbol Club were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The wind increased when Xicu Echaez made the kick off in the second half. Marcelo Remolina sent away a hard shot on goal in the 51st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Yoelvis Pereta stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Xicu Echaez's shot from short distance in the 61st minute. After a rather tough play, Papa Frita Futbol Club's Chico Galanes got a free kick in the 64th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Héctor Iza in the 65th minute of play forced Papa Frita Futbol Club's goalkeeper Guamán Arramendia to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Papa Frita Futbol Club's Guagua Galarreta got a good chance for a goal in the 67th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Zarbonin Giraldo succeeded in the game's 69th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 1-3.
