The referee ignored UD Shaglli's protests and gave Armando Acutain a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, UD Shaglli's Armando Acutain got a free kick in the 12th minute. After a defensive mix-up in UD Shaglli's zone, Iza Iruz stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Fernando Garate came out of the goal and Iza Iruz tried to chip the ball over his head. But to his dismay, Armando Acutain quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. UD Shaglli's Fernando Garate played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Iza Iruz in the 67th minute of play. Fernando Garate showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Iza Iruz, who was totally free with the ball in the 72nd minute. Thanks to some nice moves Armando Acutain could shoot a difficult shot in the 77th minute, which Anibal Ybarbo however easily saved by the left post. UD Shaglli's supporters rose to their feet, but Armando Acutain was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Anibal Ybarbo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. With a little luck, Universidad Catolica's Anibal Ybarbo got control of the ball when Alonso Tebe tried to sneak it across the goal line. Anibal Ybarbo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alonso Tebe in the 83rd minute of play. Anibal Ybarbo didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when UD Shaglli's Fernado Torres shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 1-3 in the ordered_time% minute. Universidad Catolica's Anibal Ybarbo proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 92nd minute of the match, managed to save Universidad Catolica from getting a goal against them. When Armando Acutain came up free with the goalie in the 96th minute, the UD Shaglli fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Armando Acutain couldn't finish the play. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. UD Shaglli had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
