The penalty shot was made by Cristian Guera, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of UD Shaglli's Fernando Garate. 0-1. Armando Acutain's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Wellington Corroto read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 13th minute of play. 15 minutes into the match, UD Boqueron's goalkeeper Wellington Corroto had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Armando Acutain. Rodolfo Olmo's late challenge caught a UD Shaglli's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Rodolfo Olmo helped the player get up and apologised. 18 minutes into the match, UD Boqueron's goalkeeper Wellington Corroto had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Armando Acutain. Armando Acutain fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Wellington Corroto having to interfere. Armando Acutain came free with the goalkeeper in the 25th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Wellington Corroto could save by the left post. UD Boqueron's Wellington Corroto played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fernado Torres in the 27th minute of play. In the 29th minute Fernado Torres suffered a foot injury and had to be helped off the field. 29 minutes into the game, Fernandez Mirueña was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. UD Boqueron's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave UD Shaglli the free kick. UD Shaglli's Ruperto Temes was substituted for Fernado Torres. After 29 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for UD Boqueron! With a little luck, UD Boqueron's Wellington Corroto got control of the ball when Armando Acutain tried to sneak it across the goal line. After 36 minutes of play, UD Boqueron's Navarro Puente made it 1-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Fernando Garate was left in no man's land by his defense there! Wellington Corroto was out of position in the 43 minute of play, and Yoelvis Mulas capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Yoelvis Mulas really showed his touch with that goal: 2-2. In the 47th minute, one of UD Boqueron:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for UD Boqueron. When the match had been going on for 49 minutes, UD Shaglli's Ruperto Temes got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Wellington Corroto.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Armando Acutain stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 72 minutes into the game, Armando Acutain cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-3. Wellington Corroto was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The supporters of UD Boqueron booed when UD Shaglli was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 76 match minutes in a wonderful position. Quiñónez Arbulo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Thanks to some nice moves Navarro Puente could shoot a difficult shot in the 77th minute, which Fernando Garate however easily saved by the left post. UD Shaglli's Agustín Argos got his second yellow card of the match in the 77th minute. The referee ordered Agustín Argos off the ground. After 78 played minutes UD Shaglli got a freekick which was hit by Agustín Argos. When Armando Acutain came up free with the goalie in the 84th minute, the UD Shaglli fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Armando Acutain couldn't finish the play. With 87 minutes on the clock, Juan Mon commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. In a very dangerous position, a player in UD Shaglli fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 87th minute. Penalty! When Yoelvis Mulas fell near the penalty area in the 92nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored UD Shaglli's protests and gave Yoelvis Mulas a yellow card for diving instead. In the 94th match minute, UD Shaglli was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alonso Tebe to maneuver through the defense. Wellington Corroto stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Yoelvis Mulas's shot from short distance in the 100th minute. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
