With a little luck, Warriors FC's Burbano Miño got control of the ball when Alfredo Oria tried to sneak it across the goal line. Xurdin Valladolid's late challenge caught a Warriors FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Xurdin Valladolid helped the player get up and apologised. Xurdin Valladolid kicked well hit freekick during the 13th minute of the match. Alfredo Oria could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 16th minute of the match, but Burbano Miño made a huge save. In the 17th minute of the match UD Tigua got a corner. Warriors FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Marlon Carrete ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner led UD Tigua's Marlon Carrete to fire away a dangerous shot which Burbano Miño despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. A collision led to UD Tigua getting a freekick after 20 minutes play. Maximo Muelas hit a great ball. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Bagui Viz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Bagui Viz struck a weak shot in the 45th minute. Jose-Antonio Lariz didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Warriors FC. If Bagui Viz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Sergio Dulanto to strike the kick off in the second half. The supporters of UD Tigua booed when Warriors FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 51 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bagui Viz didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Alfredo Oria came up free with the goalie in the 54th minute, the UD Tigua fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Alfredo Oria couldn't finish the play. After some fancy dribbling in the 56th minute, Alejandro Armona managed to get in a good position for a shot. Warriors FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Alejandro Armona was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jose-Antonio Lariz breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 61st minute Sergio Dulanto shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Burbano Miño saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Burbano Miño took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alfredo Oria, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 67 minutes into the match, Warriors FC's goal looked a bit too open when Alfredo Oria came free, but Burbano Miño reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 69 minutes into the match, Warriors FC's goal looked a bit too open when Sergio Dulanto came free, but Burbano Miño reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a left leg Burbano Miño saved Warriors FC from getting behind. Burbano Miño didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Alfredo Oria went, in the 90th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-0 was the resulting score. Burbano Miño showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sergio Dulanto, who was totally free with the ball in the 94th minute. The UD Tigua support was delighted with a win in a match that could easily have ended differently.
