The corner ended in Cortez Gill almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Real Andaluz F.C.'s Christian Barbot did a great save. Xencio Bonechea's late challenge caught a Cuenca S.C's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Xencio Bonechea helped the player get up and apologised. In the 6th match minute, Real Andaluz F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Xencio Bonechea to maneuver through the defense. A collision led to Real Andaluz F.C. getting a freekick after 8 minutes play. Patricio Palos hit a great ball. Christian Barbot showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cortez Gill, who was totally free with the ball in the 9th minute. After 9 played minutes Real Andaluz F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Lisandro Barba. Christian Barbot stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Armando Alamea's shot from short distance in the 12th minute. Real Andaluz F.C.'s defense didn't have a chance, in the 14th minute, when Eduardo Navariega scored to the left of an out of position Christian Barbot, making the score, 1-0. Cuenca S.C's Xulio Arvelo got a good chance for a goal in the 21st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The supporters of Cuenca S.C booed when Real Andaluz F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 24 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lisandro Barba didn't get a good kick on the ball. Eduardo Navariega struck a weak shot in the 25th minute. Christian Barbot didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Cuenca S.C. After some fancy dribbling in the 27th minute, Arias Sieira managed to get in a good position for a shot. Real Andaluz F.C.'s supporters rose to their feet, but Arias Sieira was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Guillermo Pontones breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 29 minutes into the match, Real Andaluz F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Armando Alamea came free, but Christian Barbot reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Armando Alamea received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 29th minute. Christian Barbot tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Cuenca S.C's Armando Alamea got a good chance for a goal in the 31st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 32nd minute, Eduardo Navariega reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Christian Barbot. The goal made the score 2-0. The supporters of Cuenca S.C booed when Real Andaluz F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 36 match minutes in a wonderful position. Patricio Palos didn't get a good kick on the ball. 39 minutes into the game, Eduardo Navariega recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Christian Barbot. Eduardo Navariega showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 3-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Xulio Arvelo in the 42nd minute of play forced Real Andaluz F.C.'s goalkeeper Christian Barbot to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 43rd minute Armando Alamea shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Christian Barbot saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Christian Barbot made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Armando Alamea in the 46th minute of play.

Real Andaluz F.C.'s Christian Barbot played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Armando Alamea in the 57th minute of play. During the 61st minute of the match Xencio Bonechea completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Xencio Bonechea a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. The Real Andaluz F.C. fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Christian Barbot should have stopped the shot. 75 minutes into the match, Eduardo Navariega notched a goal, 6-0, to the right of Real Andaluz F.C.'s Christian Barbot. Christian Barbot was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. An unexpectedly hard shot by Armando Alamea in the 79th minute of play forced Real Andaluz F.C.'s goalkeeper Christian Barbot to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 80 minutes into the game, Armando Alamea cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 7-0. Christian Barbot was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 83 minutes into the game, Cuenca S.C's Eduardo Navariega nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Christian Barbot made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 8-0. Christian Barbot made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eduardo Navariega in the 86th minute of play. After having played for 87 minutes, Armando Alamea managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Cuenca S.C's supporters crossed their fingers, but Armando Alamea was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Eduardo Navariega had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 95thth minute of the game Eduardo Navariega who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Real Andaluz F.C.'s Christian Barbot was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When the referee ended the match the Cuenca S.C players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
