After 37 played minutes Limonal FC got a freekick which was hit by Alex Huera. Maria Guevara took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Edson Diz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Alex Huera sent away a hard shot on goal in the 41st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Alejo Montez struck a weak shot in the 46th minute. Valencia Reigadas didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Tanchiguo.

In the 50th match minute, Tanchiguo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Diamantino Valente to maneuver through the defense. Tanchiguo's Ugutz Vizcaya got a good chance for a goal in the 55th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Maria Guevara made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Xamo Suane in the 59th minute of play. Alejo Montez succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 0-3 in the 60th playminute. Limonal FC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 64th minute, when Ugutz Vizcaya scored to the left of an out of position Valencia Reigadas, making the score, 0-4. Tanchiguo's Maria Guevara played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Xamo Suane in the 69th minute of play. In a very dangerous position, a player in Limonal FC fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 71st minute. Penalty! When the match had been going on for 72 minutes, Tanchiguo's Fred Locke got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Valencia Reigadas. The crowd rose to their feet as Ugutz Vizcaya kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Valencia Reigadas. That made the score 0-6 in the 78 minute of play. After having played for 84 minutes, Fabio Pujargimon managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Limonal FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Fabio Pujargimon was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Tanchiguo's Maria Guevara played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Edson Diz in the 85th minute of play. Ugutz Vizcaya blasted a shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Valencia Reigadas having to make a save. Ugutz Vizcaya's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Valencia Reigadas read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 93rd minute of play. Alejo Montez's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Valencia Reigadas firmly grabbed it by the left post. After some careless play in the Limonal FC defense, Xefe Palianza kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Valencia Reigadas. The Limonal FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Valencia Reigadas should have stopped the shot.
