Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) UD Chavay's Bolívar Fierro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eduardo Navariega in the 4th minute of play. 5 minutes into the match, UD Chavay's goal looked a bit too open when Armando Alamea came free, but Bolívar Fierro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 7 minutes into the match, Eduardo Navariega notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of UD Chavay's Bolívar Fierro. Bolívar Fierro was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Zuñiga Portas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 14th minute. Guillermo Pontones tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eduardo Navariega in the 16th minute of play forced UD Chavay's goalkeeper Bolívar Fierro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 17 minutes of play, Cuenca S.C's Armando Alamea made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Bolívar Fierro was left in no man's land by his defense there! After having played for 21 minutes, Arnoldo Yerro managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. UD Chavay's supporters crossed their fingers, but Arnoldo Yerro was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 23rd minute, Jairo Eguiluz ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Bolívar Fierro was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-3. Bolívar Fierro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Armando Alamea, who was totally free with the ball in the 30th minute. Bolívar Fierro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jairo Berastegui, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 40 minutes into the match, Armando Alamea notched a goal, 0-5, to the right of UD Chavay's Bolívar Fierro. Bolívar Fierro was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After 43 minutes of play, Cuenca S.C's Jairo Eguiluz made it 0-6 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Bolívar Fierro was left in no man's land by his defense there! Campos Orellan kicked well hit freekick during the 46th minute of the match. In the 47th minute the ball was on its way in behind Cuenca S.C's goalkeeper Guillermo Pontones, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-6 lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Arnoldo Yerro stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Jairo Eguiluz could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 56th minute of the match, but Bolívar Fierro made a huge save. Cuenca S.C were furious when Edgardo Olivera was red carded, 57 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. 57 minutes into the game, one of Cuenca S.C:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. The referee gave UD Chavay a penalty, 59 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Nacho Chasco, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Cuenca S.C's Guillermo Pontones. 1-6. Eduardo Navariega sent away a hard shot on goal in the 61st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 68th match minute, UD Chavay was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Diego Marin to maneuver through the defense. After 73 minutes, Eduardo Navariega made it 1-8 with a short kick to the right side. UD Chavay's Bolívar Fierro tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 81st minute Arnoldo Yerro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Guillermo Pontones saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Armando Alamea in the 91st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Bolívar Fierro prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 93rd minute, Cuenca S.C's Eduardo Navariega dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-11.
