Tanchiguo's supporters crossed their fingers, but Geovanni Zalon was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 7 minutes into the game, Tanchiguo's Diamantino Valente nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Joaquin Madrigal made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. In the 11th minute of the match Rios Erruz shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Joaquin Madrigal showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Joaquin Madrigal showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rios Erruz in the 15th minute of the match. Argi Barron took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Neicer Chandeiro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With splendid footwork Geovanni Zalon arrived in front of goal to shoot 2-0 by the left pole in the game's 21st minute. Geovanni Zalon received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 27th minute. Joaquin Madrigal tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 29 minutes of play, Tanchiguo's Rios Erruz made it 3-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Joaquin Madrigal was left in no man's land by his defense there! When Americo Bertin came up free with the goalie in the 38th minute, the Tanchiguo fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Americo Bertin couldn't finish the play. After some careless play in the Im Javo defense, Geovanni Zalon kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Joaquin Madrigal. The Im Javo fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Joaquin Madrigal should have stopped the shot. Im Javo's Joaquin Madrigal proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 42nd minute of the match, managed to save Im Javo from getting a goal against them. Joaquin Madrigal made a fantastic save in the 44th minute, when Geovanni Zalon sent off a good shot on target. Neicer Chandeiro's late challenge caught a Tanchiguo's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Neicer Chandeiro helped the player get up and apologised. When Alejo Montez came up free with the goalie in the 48th minute, the Tanchiguo fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Alejo Montez couldn't finish the play. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 4-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Neicer Chandeiro made a kick off. The supporters of Tanchiguo booed when Im Javo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 51 match minutes in a wonderful position. Insua Verdesoto didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 52nd minute of the match Rios Erruz shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Joaquin Madrigal showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. In the 55th minute, Americo Bertin ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Joaquin Madrigal was frozen by the shot and now it was 5-0. Alejo Montez fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Joaquin Madrigal having to interfere. 59 minutes into the game, Burbano Morelo was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Im Javo's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Tanchiguo the free kick. Im Javo's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Tanchiguo the free kick. 70 minutes into the match, Im Javo's goal looked a bit too open when Alejo Montez came free, but Joaquin Madrigal reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 71st minute, Fred Locke ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Joaquin Madrigal was frozen by the shot and now it was 6-0. Geovanni Zalon sent away a hard shot on goal in the 74th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 79 minutes into the match, Alejo Montez notched a goal, 7-0, to the right of Im Javo's Joaquin Madrigal. Joaquin Madrigal was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After having played for 82 minutes, Americo Bertin managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Tanchiguo's supporters crossed their fingers, but Americo Bertin was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 87th minute, Alejo Montez left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Tanchiguo fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 8-0. Geovanni Zalon received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 94th minute. Joaquin Madrigal tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
