Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Americo Bilbao kicked off to start the match. Teodoro Atienza charged in rather forcefully in the 10th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Teodoro Atienza the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 9th minute, one of UD Chavay:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for UD Chavay. UD Chavay's Bolívar Fierro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Xesus Sevane in the 17th minute of play. In the 21st minute Zuñiga Portas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Poroso Villalva saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 22 minutes into the match, Virgen de la Merced's goal looked a bit too open when Zuñiga Portas came free, but Poroso Villalva reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Virgen de la Merced's Xesus Sevane got a free kick in the 23rd minute. Poroso Villalva took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fausto Teijon, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 27 minutes into the match, UD Chavay's goalkeeper Bolívar Fierro had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Jorge Villar. In the 29th minute Arnoldo Yerro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Poroso Villalva saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With an all-out effort, Virgen de la Merced's Bolívar Fierro threw himself towards the right post 31 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Americo Bilbao, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Fausto Teijon charged in rather forcefully in the 31st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. Fausto Teijon hit a great ball. Bolívar Fierro came out of the goal in the 34th minute to try and stop a shot by Virgen de la Merced's Xesus Sevane. But to his dismay, Xesus Sevane quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. UD Chavay's Bolívar Fierro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Xesus Sevane in the 38th minute of play. The crowd rose to their feet as Americo Bilbao kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Bolívar Fierro. That made the score 3-0 in the 40 minute of play. After a rather tough play, UD Chavay's Arnoldo Yerro got a free kick in the 43rd minute. A collision led to UD Chavay getting a freekick after 45 minutes play. Zayvion Viesca hit a great ball. UD Chavay's Bolívar Fierro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Americo Bilbao in the 48th minute of play. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The wind increased when Arnoldo Yerro made the kick off in the second half. In the 55th minute Arnoldo Yerro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Poroso Villalva saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Zuñiga Portas in the 56th minute of play forced Virgen de la Merced's goalkeeper Poroso Villalva to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 57th minute Jorge Villar shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bolívar Fierro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Xesus Sevane in the 58th minute of play forced UD Chavay's goalkeeper Bolívar Fierro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jorge Villar recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 61st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Xepe Ucero hit a great freekick 63 minutes into the match. After having played for 71 minutes, Jorge Villar managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Virgen de la Merced's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jorge Villar was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Bolívar Fierro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Xesus Sevane, who was totally free with the ball in the 72nd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Americo Bilbao in the 73rd minute of play forced UD Chavay's goalkeeper Bolívar Fierro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 74th match minute, UD Chavay was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nacho Chasco to maneuver through the defense. The supporters of UD Chavay booed when Virgen de la Merced was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 77 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fausto Godines didn't get a good kick on the ball. Nacho Chasco recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 78th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 83 minutes into the game, Nacho Chasco was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. UD Chavay's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Virgen de la Merced the free kick. In the 83rd match minute, UD Chavay was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nacho Chasco to maneuver through the defense. Bolívar Fierro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Americo Bilbao in the 86th minute of play. A collision led to Virgen de la Merced getting a freekick after 88 minutes play. Xesus Sevane hit a great ball. In the 91st minute, Jorge Villar made a precise shot to the right of Bolívar Fierro. UD Chavay's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-2. UD Chavay's Bolívar Fierro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Americo Bilbao in the 94th minute of play. Bolívar Fierro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Xesus Sevane in the 95th minute of the match. Bolívar Fierro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Xesus Sevane in the 96th minute of play. Virgen de la Merced were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of UD Chavay for a fine match.
