Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Arnoldo Yerro made the kick off which started today's match. Atahualpa SC's Mane Varandalla played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fausto Teijon in the 7th minute of play. Bolívar Fierro stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Xavion Velis's shot from short distance in the 12th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Navarro Garay in the 13th minute of play forced UD Chavay's goalkeeper Bolívar Fierro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Xavion Velis fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bolívar Fierro having to interfere. Fausto Teijon kicked well hit freekick during the 15th minute of the match. UD Chavay's Bolívar Fierro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Elkin Lucena in the 23rd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Xavion Velis in the 24th minute of play forced UD Chavay's goalkeeper Bolívar Fierro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, UD Chavay's Veronica Merodio got a free kick in the 25th minute. 26 minutes into the game, Atahualpa SC's Elkin Lucena nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Bolívar Fierro made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Elkin Lucena in the 30th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Bolívar Fierro saved UD Chavay from getting behind. In the 35th minute, Paulo Masana hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some fancy dribbling in the 36th minute, Zuñiga Portas managed to get in a good position for a shot. UD Chavay's supporters rose to their feet, but Zuñiga Portas was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Mane Varandalla breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Elkin Lucena in the 40th minute of play forced UD Chavay's goalkeeper Bolívar Fierro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to Atahualpa SC getting a freekick after 41 minutes play. Pavel Muela hit a great ball. Mane Varandalla made a fantastic save in the 44th minute, when Zuñiga Portas sent off a good shot on target. After a rather tough play, Atahualpa SC's Pavel Muela got a free kick in the 44th minute. Vincent Fontanez charged in rather forcefully in the 47th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Vincent Fontanez the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Diego Marin kicked well hit freekick during the 51st minute of the match. In the 52nd minute, Atahualpa SC's Elkin Lucena dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-2. Bolívar Fierro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Navarro Garay in the 56th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Navarro Garay got free with Bolívar Fierro in the 57th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Zuñiga Portas took the ball and in the 59 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Mane Varandalla. Mane Varandalla dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-2. In the 66th minute Arnoldo Yerro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mane Varandalla saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Paulo Masana kicked well hit freekick during the 67th minute of the match. Navarro Garay scored 1-4 in the 70th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Bolívar Fierro, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. With a little luck, UD Chavay's Bolívar Fierro got control of the ball when Xavion Velis tried to sneak it across the goal line. 76 minutes into the match, Atahualpa SC's goal looked a bit too open when Arnoldo Yerro came free, but Mane Varandalla reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Diego Marin took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 78th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Mane Varandalla. Atahualpa SC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in UD Chavay's zone, Xavion Velis stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Bolívar Fierro came out of the goal and Xavion Velis tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 89 minutes into the game, Diego Marin was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. UD Chavay's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Atahualpa SC the free kick. The supporters of Atahualpa SC booed when UD Chavay was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 89 match minutes in a wonderful position. Diego Marin didn't get a good kick on the ball. Humberto Zulueta, 90 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. With a little luck, UD Chavay's Bolívar Fierro got control of the ball when Navarro Garay tried to sneak it across the goal line. The UD Chavay supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Atahualpa SC's performance. The match ended with a win for Atahualpa SC.
