The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After having played for 6 minutes, Paco Helguera managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. AKATSUKIS FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Paco Helguera was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Amadeu Alvarenga didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Adrian Zubillaga went, in the 10th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. In the 14th match minute, CD Cohambi was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Adrian Zubillaga to maneuver through the defense. Juan Sobrado received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 19th minute. Aral Olcay tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. AKATSUKIS FC's Amadeu Alvarenga played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Adrian Zubillaga in the 21st minute of play. In the 24th minute of the match AKATSUKIS FC got a corner. CD Cohambi's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Noriega Zurbano ran over to the corner to take the kick. After taking down the ball on AKATSUKIS FC's corner Noriega Zurbano fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Aral Olcay quite easily take care of the ball. After a rather tough play, CD Cohambi's Adrian Zubillaga got a free kick in the 34th minute. Carcelén Dragranda hit a great freekick 35 minutes into the match. Amadeu Alvarenga didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Bogumil Kilarski went, in the 37th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-4 was the resulting score. Amadeu Alvarenga stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Adrian Zubillaga's shot from short distance in the 40th minute. In the 42nd minute of the match CD Cohambi got a corner. AKATSUKIS FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Hernan Montealegre ran over to the corner to take the kick. Adrian Zubillaga charged in rather forcefully in the 45th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Adrian Zubillaga the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 45th match minute, CD Cohambi was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Adrian Zubillaga to maneuver through the defense. In the 47th minute Jacob Moutinho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Amadeu Alvarenga saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. CD Cohambi were awarded a corner in the 49th minute after AKATSUKIS FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Hernan Montealegre took the corner. The corner led CD Cohambi's Hernan Montealegre to fire away a dangerous shot which Amadeu Alvarenga despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Adrian Zubillaga made a kick off. 53 minutes into the match, AKATSUKIS FC's goal looked a bit too open when Bogumil Kilarski came free, but Amadeu Alvarenga reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Harold Holsmuller received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 56th minute. Aral Olcay tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 72nd minute of the match, Jacob Moutinho got a very nice opportunity to score, but Amadeu Alvarenga was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Aral Olcay took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Harold Holsmuller, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A hard shot 75 in the game by Jacob Moutinho from a close distance when the talented Amadeu Alvarenga managed to make a qualified save. AKATSUKIS FC's players were relieved. 82 minutes into the match, CD Cohambi's Jacob Moutinho sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Amadeu Alvarenga narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 84th minute, Bogumil Kilarski reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Amadeu Alvarenga. The goal made the score 0-8. 88 minutes into the match, CD Cohambi's goal looked a bit too open when Gonzalo Artechevezuen came free, but Aral Olcay reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Amadeu Alvarenga was a little too slow when Bogumil Kilarski got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 89th minute. The score was now 0-9. The corner led CD Cohambi's Bogumil Kilarski to fire away a dangerous shot which Amadeu Alvarenga despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched CD Cohambi eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
