Codeiros's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Ferchobol FC the free kick. After 42 played minutes Codeiros got a freekick which was hit by Juan Chinchetru. After the first half Ferchobol FC were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Tiago Mora to make the kick off. 52 minutes into the match, Ferchobol FC's goal looked a bit too open when Tiago Mora came free, but Ramón Neto reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ramón Neto made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tiago Mora in the 55th minute of play. In the 55th minute, Tiago Mora left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net.
