Jose-Antonio Urioste started the match with the kick off. FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. 10 minutes into the match, Julio Garikoitz notched a goal, 1-2, to the right of Caldo de Gallina Ranchero's Xose Valtierra. Xose Valtierra was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Rodrigo Balanza hit a great freekick 13 minutes into the match. After having played for 16 minutes, Jose-Antonio Urioste managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Caldo de Gallina Ranchero's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jose-Antonio Urioste was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When Teo Loren came up free with the goalie in the 18th minute, the Caldo de Gallina Ranchero fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Teo Loren couldn't finish the play. Everyone was convinced a goal was close when K.R. FC's Julio Garikoitz in the 21st minute lifted the ball towards the upper right corner, but Xose Valtierra was perfectly placed and prevented a goal for Caldo de Gallina Ranchero through an amazing save. In the 22nd minute K.R. FC were awarded a corner. Delmiro Salvadore went to the cornerflag to take it. After 24 played minutes Caldo de Gallina Ranchero got a freekick which was hit by Jose-Antonio Urioste. Xose Valtierra showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Delmiro Salvadore, who was totally free with the ball in the 29th minute. Xose Valtierra made a fantastic save in the 36th minute, when Delmiro Salvadore sent off a good shot on target. Cesar Boladeras took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nicanor Bertol, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After taking down the ball on Caldo de Gallina Ranchero's corner Veto Lampez fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Cesar Boladeras quite easily take care of the ball. Cesar Boladeras showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jose-Antonio Urioste in the 45th minute of the match. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The wind increased when Boris Bouceda made the kick off in the second half. After a rather tough play, K.R. FC's Cortez Azcunaga got a free kick in the 51st minute. Xose Valtierra made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Julio Garikoitz in the 60th minute of play. Boris Bouceda recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 61st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 63 played minutes Caldo de Gallina Ranchero got a freekick which was hit by Javier Agudo. Cesar Boladeras took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nicanor Bertol, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Caldo de Gallina Ranchero's Xose Valtierra played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Delmiro Salvadore in the 69th minute of play. Cesar Boladeras made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nicanor Bertol in the 70th minute of play. When Jose-Antonio Urioste came up free with the goalie in the 74th minute, the Caldo de Gallina Ranchero fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jose-Antonio Urioste couldn't finish the play. In the 84th minute of the match, Xinaro Montemiuño tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Cesar Boladeras saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. After having played for 85 minutes, Teo Loren managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Caldo de Gallina Ranchero's supporters crossed their fingers, but Teo Loren was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 86 minutes into the match, Delmiro Salvadore had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Xose Valtierra. Caldo de Gallina Ranchero's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Delmiro Salvadore was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-2. Cesar Boladeras took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Xinaro Montemiuño, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Delmiro Salvadore charged in rather forcefully in the 91st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Delmiro Salvadore the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Delmiro Salvadore hit a great freekick 91 minutes into the match. If Jose-Antonio Urioste had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
