The supporters of La Capira booed when Trueno Negro was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 14 match minutes in a wonderful position. Eduardo Estarrona didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 15th minute, Neicer Obarenes made a precise shot to the right of Ramiro Gabiña. Trueno Negro's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rodrigo Donallo in the 26th minute of play forced La Capira's goalkeeper Miltos Baltsakis to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Miltos Baltsakis took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rodrigo Donallo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Eduardo Estarrona was shown his second yellow card after 70 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. In the 71st minute, Eduardo Estarrona hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Grueso Valera came up free with the goalie in the 77th minute, the Trueno Negro fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Grueso Valera couldn't finish the play. In the 85th minute, Ortíz Bolaños hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 88th minute, Zeru Lupidana got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After a defensive mix-up in La Capira's zone, Andres Zunzunegui stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Miltos Baltsakis came out of the goal and Andres Zunzunegui tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Thanks to some nice moves Zeru Lupidana could shoot a difficult shot in the 95th minute, which Miltos Baltsakis however easily saved by the left post. Trueno Negro were disappointed that they only managed a draw, even though they felt themselves to be the better team.
