Justice League's Hal Villegas played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Pablo Gorvea in the 3rd minute of play. The supporters of Justice League booed when EL HERALDO DEL INFIERNO was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 4 match minutes in a wonderful position. Juan Erce didn't get a good kick on the ball. 8 minutes into the game, Zadornin Erauso was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. EL HERALDO DEL INFIERNO's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Justice League the free kick. After 8 played minutes EL HERALDO DEL INFIERNO got a freekick which was hit by Zadornin Erauso. Hal Villegas came out of the goal in the 11th minute to try and stop a shot by EL HERALDO DEL INFIERNO's Zadornin Erauso. But to his dismay, Zadornin Erauso quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. In the 15thth minute of the game Edwin Villayres who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but EL HERALDO DEL INFIERNO's Vilson Leicea was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Edwin Villayres might have been able to make a better finish in the 17th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Vilson Leicea. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Edwin Villayres ran back to his position shaking his head. Vilson Leicea made a fantastic save in the 17th minute, when Edwin Villayres sent off a good shot on target. An unexpectedly hard shot by Pablo Gorvea in the 18th minute of play forced Justice League's goalkeeper Hal Villegas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. EL HERALDO DEL INFIERNO's Vilson Leicea played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Edwin Villayres in the 24th minute of play. Pablo Gorvea kicked well hit freekick during the 26th minute of the match. EL HERALDO DEL INFIERNO's defense didn't have a chance, in the 27th minute, when Victor Ibaizabal scored to the left of an out of position Vilson Leicea, making the score, 1-1. 2-1 became the score in the 31st minute when Edwin Villayres elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Victor Ibaizabal fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Vilson Leicea having to interfere. In the 41st match minute, EL HERALDO DEL INFIERNO was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Pablo Gorvea to maneuver through the defense. Alex Vilar received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 44th minute. Hal Villegas tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 46 played minutes EL HERALDO DEL INFIERNO got a freekick which was hit by Pablo Gorvea. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.
The wind increased when Alex Vilar made the kick off in the second half. The audience thought a goal was coming when Pablo Gorvea got free with Hal Villegas in the 53rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 56th match minute, Justice League was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Victor Ibaizabal to maneuver through the defense. In the 59th minute, Justice League's Lisandro Cases seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Lisandro Cases the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Justice League protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Lisandro Cases had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. 58 minutes into the game, one of Justice League:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Victor Ibaizabal hit a great freekick 63 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, Justice League's Edwin Villayres got a free kick in the 65th minute. A collision led to EL HERALDO DEL INFIERNO getting a freekick after 68 minutes play. Zadornin Erauso hit a great ball. 70 minutes into the match, Justice League's goal looked a bit too open when Ataulfo Telleria came free, but Hal Villegas reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Vilson Leicea showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Edwin Villayres, who was totally free with the ball in the 73rd minute. With a little luck, Justice League's Hal Villegas got control of the ball when Pablo Gorvea tried to sneak it across the goal line. Edwin Villayres hit a great freekick 75 minutes into the match. Alex Vilar fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 77th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hal Villegas having to interfere. Pablo Gorvea who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 79thth minute tested the skills of Hal Villegas when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Pablo Gorvea sent away a hard shot on goal in the 83rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 85th minute Pablo Gorvea shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hal Villegas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Pablo Gorvea in the 88th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Hal Villegas saved Justice League from getting behind. A collision led to EL HERALDO DEL INFIERNO getting a freekick after 90 minutes play. Sebastian Brena hit a great ball. Hal Villegas made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Pablo Gorvea in the 97th minute of play. 98 minutes had been played when some careless play by Justice League's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Urtats Castañiza was slow to take the kick. During this time EL HERALDO DEL INFIERNO's players had a chance to rest.
