An unexpectedly hard shot by Lautaro Frigo in the 7th minute of play forced Sal Rom F.C.'s goalkeeper Monge Lima to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Monge Lima showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lautaro Frigo in the 7th minute of the match. With a little luck, Sal Rom F.C.'s Monge Lima got control of the ball when Eustaquio Solorzano tried to sneak it across the goal line. 9 minutes into the match, Sal Rom F.C.'s goalkeeper Monge Lima had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Eustaquio Solorzano. The crowd rose to their feet as Lautaro Frigo kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Monge Lima. That made the score 1-0 in the 11 minute of play. In the 15th match minute, Sal Rom F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mane Morentin to maneuver through the defense. 16 minutes into the match, Sal Rom F.C.'s goalkeeper Monge Lima had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Eustaquio Solorzano. An unexpectedly hard shot by Santiago Sedeño in the 17th minute of play forced RACING CLUB's goalkeeper Ambrosio Tancredo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, RACING CLUB's Guillermo Aballe got a free kick in the 18th minute. In the 19th minute, Bagui Oliver hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some fancy dribbling in the 19th minute, Chucho Pravia managed to get in a good position for a shot. Sal Rom F.C.'s supporters rose to their feet, but Chucho Pravia was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ambrosio Tancredo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Monge Lima made an important save on a dangerous shot by Lino Pero in the 21st minute. In the 23rd match minute, Sal Rom F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alfonso Carballo to maneuver through the defense. Lino Pero succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 2-0 in the 28th playminute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Eustaquio Solorzano in the 31st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Monge Lima prevented the ball from getting in the gole. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lino Pero in the 45th minute of play forced Sal Rom F.C.'s goalkeeper Monge Lima to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 4-1 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Santiago Sedeño was the one to do the kick off. Sal Rom F.C.'s Monge Lima played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lautaro Frigo in the 53rd minute of play. Monge Lima took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lautaro Frigo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When RACING CLUB's Eustaquio Solorzano in the 60th minute got a chance for a shot 60th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Sal Rom F.C.'s goalie prevented a goal. Monge Lima stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Lautaro Frigo's shot from short distance in the 62nd minute. In the 68thth minute of the game Lautaro Frigo who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Sal Rom F.C.'s Monge Lima was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Monge Lima showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eustaquio Solorzano in the 69th minute of the match. In the 71st minute, Lautaro Frigo left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The RACING CLUB fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 6-1. Monge Lima came out of the goal in the 79th minute to try and stop a shot by RACING CLUB's Eustaquio Solorzano. But to his dismay, Eustaquio Solorzano quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 7-1. In the 83rd minute Lino Pero shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Monge Lima saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 86th minute, Lautaro Frigo left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The RACING CLUB fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 8-1. After a rather tough play, Sal Rom F.C.'s Alfonso Carballo got a free kick in the 95th minute. RACING CLUB's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
