Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Amin Kurd in the 8th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Rustam Martynov prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Astillero del Guayas's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Jiang Hui Guang in the 10th minute. A nice corner shot did that Jiang Hui Guang got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Rustam Martynov quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. 11 minutes into the game, Astillero del Guayas's Ulizes Sola nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Rustam Martynov made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. If Amin Kurd had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 14th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 22 minutes into the game, Juan-Pablo Leyarte was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Astillero del Guayas's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Águilas FC the free kick. In the 23rd minute, Juan-Pablo Leyarte hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Mattias Svan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 26th minute. Rustam Martynov tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 29th minute, Mattias Svan ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Rustam Martynov was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. Rustam Martynov took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mattias Svan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When the match clock showed 37 minutes, the score became 0-3 when Mattias Svan sped through Águilas FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Rustam Martynov. In the 39th minute Amin Kurd shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rustam Martynov saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Rustam Martynov took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ulizes Sola, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 47th minute, Gustav Vinström made a precise shot to the right of Rustam Martynov. Águilas FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-4.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Rolando Cagigal to strike the kick off in the second half. The audience thought a goal was coming when Amin Kurd got free with Rustam Martynov in the 59th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Astillero del Guayas's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Jiang Hui Guang in the 60th minute. Juan-Pablo Leyarte made a great header on Astillero del Guayas's corner, it was just that Águilas FC's Rustam Martynov managed to reach the ball for a save. Ulizes Sola took the ball and in the 62 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Rustam Martynov. Rustam Martynov dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-7. In the 67th minute of the match Sandro Tobalina sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Nacho González skillfully saved the ball. Rustam Martynov showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ulizes Sola in the 71st minute of the match. In the 74th minute Mattias Svan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rustam Martynov saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Rustam Martynov made a fantastic save in the 76th minute, when Amin Kurd sent off a good shot on target. Ulizes Sola sent away a hard shot on goal in the 77th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 79 played minutes Astillero del Guayas got a freekick which was hit by Ziemowit Lampa. Bagui Lizana hit a great freekick 80 minutes into the match. Rustam Martynov made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mattias Svan in the 88th minute of play. If Bagui Lizana had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 91st minute, Gustav Vinström ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Rustam Martynov was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-9. 96 minutes into the match, Águilas FC's goal looked a bit too open when Mattias Svan came free, but Rustam Martynov reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Astillero del Guayas played a much better game than Águilas FC and deserved their victory. The Águilas FC players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
