Ambrosio Tancredo made a fantastic save in the 13th minute, when Ismael Pilas sent off a good shot on target. In the 14th minute LOS CHELINES were awarded a corner. Cortez Del Piero went to the cornerflag to take it. It was a well-played corner which Luiz Mazza managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. After 18 minutes RACING CLUB's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Cortez Del Piero who took care of the corner kick. Afonso Baía stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Lautaro Frigo's shot from short distance in the 21st minute. Ambrosio Tancredo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Luiz Mazza, who was totally free with the ball in the 23rd minute. Ambrosio Tancredo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Luiz Mazza in the 25th minute of play. Eustaquio Solorzanos short, quick shot in the 85thth minute got Afonso Baía to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Justin Failde struck a weak shot in the 86th minute. Ambrosio Tancredo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for LOS CHELINES. The audience was convinced that Melquiades Pujol's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ambrosio Tancredo was relentless in the 88th minute of the game. In the 90thth minute of the game Eustaquio Solorzano who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but LOS CHELINES's Afonso Baía was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The supporters of RACING CLUB booed when LOS CHELINES was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 90 match minutes in a wonderful position. Luiz Mazza didn't get a good kick on the ball. Eustaquio Solorzano received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 92nd minute. Afonso Baía tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Afonso Baía made a fantastic save in the 95th minute, when Eustaquio Solorzano sent off a good shot on target.
