The RACING CLUB fans' excitement grew in the 12th match minute when RACING CLUB's Eustaquio Solorzano looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Rustam Martynov came out of the goal in the 15th minute to try and stop a shot by RACING CLUB's Eustaquio Solorzano. But to his dismay, Eustaquio Solorzano quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-0. Through an outstanding action, after 18 minutes, Rustam Martynov successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Rustam Martynov made a fantastic save in the 22nd minute, when Eustaquio Solorzano sent off a good shot on target. The supporters of Águilas FC booed when RACING CLUB was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 27 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cagua Aramberri didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lautaro Frigo in the 31st minute of play forced Águilas FC's goalkeeper Rustam Martynov to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Lautaro Frigo took the ball and in the 33 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Rustam Martynov. Rustam Martynov dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-0. The audience thought a goal was coming when Eustaquio Solorzano got free with Rustam Martynov in the 36th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. RACING CLUB's Eustaquio Solorzano was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 36th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. With an all-out effort, RACING CLUB's Rustam Martynov threw himself towards the right post 39 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Lautaro Frigo, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Dinu Stoleru took the ball and in the 43 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ambrosio Tancredo. Ambrosio Tancredo dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 6-1. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 6-1.

The wind increased when Eustaquio Solorzano made the kick off in the second half. When Eustaquio Solorzano came up free with the goalie in the 52nd minute, the RACING CLUB fans jumped to their feet. Águilas FC's Rustam Martynov tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. 67 minutes into the match, Lautaro Frigo notched a goal, 8-1, to the right of Águilas FC's Rustam Martynov. Rustam Martynov was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After some careless play in the Águilas FC defense, Lautaro Frigo kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Rustam Martynov. The Águilas FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Rustam Martynov should have stopped the shot. Águilas FC's Rustam Martynov played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eustaquio Solorzano in the 77th minute of play. When Águilas FC's Roman Larrauri in the 78th minute got a chance for a shot 78th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. If Roman Larrauri had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. He walked away shaking his head. In the 93rd minute, Lino Pero ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Rustam Martynov was frozen by the shot and now it was 11-1. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. RACING CLUB fully deserved thier win.
