BOMBILLO's Yoel Cañaveral played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ulizes Sola in the 6th minute of play. If Jairo Maleta had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 9th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Astillero del Guayas booed when BOMBILLO was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 12 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gerardo Castellana didn't get a good kick on the ball. Yoel Cañaveral showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mattias Svan, who was totally free with the ball in the 15th minute. In the 17th minute, Astillero del Guayas's Amin Kurd dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. Mattias Svan took the ball and in the 21 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Yoel Cañaveral. Yoel Cañaveral dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Zxavian Duarte in the 25th minute of play forced Astillero del Guayas's goalkeeper Nacho González to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. BOMBILLO's Jairo Maleta got a good chance for a goal in the 27th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 29th match minute, BOMBILLO was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Xaiver Gala to maneuver through the defense. Mattias Svan recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 30th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gustav Vinström in the 35th minute of play forced BOMBILLO's goalkeeper Yoel Cañaveral to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Astillero del Guayas's Nacho González played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Zxavian Duarte in the 38th minute of play. 38 minutes into the match, Astillero del Guayas's goal looked a bit too open when Zxavian Duarte came free, but Nacho González reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Yoel Cañaveral made a fantastic save in the 40th minute, when Ulizes Sola sent off a good shot on target. In the 40th match minute, BOMBILLO was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Yánez Principe to maneuver through the defense. 41 minutes into the match, Amin Kurd notched a goal, 3-0, to the right of BOMBILLO's Yoel Cañaveral. Yoel Cañaveral was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-0 at half-time.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Zxavian Duarte was the one to do the kick off. Zxavian Duarte could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 51st minute of the match, but Nacho González made a huge save. Nacho González made an important save on a dangerous shot by Gabriel Gaviria in the 54th minute. Gabriel Gaviria kicked well hit freekick during the 55th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mattias Svan in the 55th minute of play forced BOMBILLO's goalkeeper Yoel Cañaveral to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Mattias Svan scored 4-0 in the 57th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Yoel Cañaveral, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. With a little luck, Astillero del Guayas's Nacho González got control of the ball when Zxavian Duarte tried to sneak it across the goal line. Yoel Cañaveral took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Amin Kurd, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 70 minutes into the match, Gustav Vinström had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Yoel Cañaveral. BOMBILLO's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Gustav Vinström was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 5-0. Zxavian Duarte could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 73rd minute of the match, but Nacho González made a huge save. Astillero del Guayas's Nacho González proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 76th minute of the match, managed to save Astillero del Guayas from getting a goal against them. 79 minutes into the match, BOMBILLO's goal looked a bit too open when Gustav Vinström came free, but Yoel Cañaveral reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 82nd minute, Gustav Vinström made a precise shot to the right of Yoel Cañaveral. BOMBILLO's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 6-0. After some careless play in the BOMBILLO defense, Ulizes Sola kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Yoel Cañaveral. The BOMBILLO fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Yoel Cañaveral should have stopped the shot. Yoel Cañaveral showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ulizes Sola in the 91st minute of the match. Yoel Cañaveral didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Gustav Vinström went, in the 94th minute, to the upper right corner, 8-0 was the resulting score. There was no doubt that Astillero del Guayas were the better team. Astillero del Guayas's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
