The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After 4 played minutes Real Poll Vazo FC got a freekick which was hit by Lucas Rebollar. Wawrzyniec Kiszkiel was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 5th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Sandro Tobalina. 12 minutes into the match, Real Poll Vazo FC's Vali Cornoiu sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Rustam Martynov narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After 13 played minutes Real Poll Vazo FC got a freekick which was hit by Walter Cismado. Rustam Martynov made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Valentim Lazo in the 18th minute of play. Rustam Martynov showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Vali Cornoiu in the 23rd minute of the match. A collision led to Real Poll Vazo FC getting a freekick after 24 minutes play. Lucas Rebollar hit a great ball. After 30th play minutes Vali Cornoiu shot 0-1, a short shot which went by Rustam Martynov and just under the crossbar into goal. After a rather tough play, Águilas FC's Juan Miguel González Bengtsson got a free kick in the 33rd minute. In the 43rd minute, Vali Cornoiu left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Real Poll Vazo FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. Real Poll Vazo FC were furious when Lucas Rebollar was red carded, 48 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. Real Poll Vazo FC's Pedro Divaichin was substituted for Paz Olañeta. In a very dangerous position, a player in Real Poll Vazo FC fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 47th minute. Penalty! Emil Sochacki shot the penalty kick right outside the post. After the first half Real Poll Vazo FC were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Vali Cornoiu to make the kick off. Vali Cornoiu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rustam Martynov having to interfere. The supporters of Águilas FC booed when Real Poll Vazo FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 62 match minutes in a wonderful position. Vali Cornoiu didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 64th match minute, Real Poll Vazo FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Vali Cornoiu to maneuver through the defense. Águilas FC's Rustam Martynov proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 68th minute of the match, managed to save Águilas FC from getting a goal against them. A collision led to Águilas FC getting a freekick after 70 minutes play. Roman Larrauri hit a great ball. Vali Cornoiu could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 83rd minute of the match, but Rustam Martynov made a huge save. The audience thought a goal was coming when Vali Cornoiu got free with Rustam Martynov in the 88th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Vali Cornoiu who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 95thth minute tested the skills of Rustam Martynov when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Vali Cornoiu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 97th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Real Poll Vazo FC made a substitution. German Gasca replaced Vali Cornoiu. When the final whistle sounded Real Poll Vazo FC left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Águilas FC.
