The corner led RACING CLUB's Lautaro Frigo to fire away a dangerous shot which Nacho González despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. In the 13th minute Mattias Svan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ambrosio Tancredo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Eustaquio Solorzano kicked a quick shot right in front of the goal in the 18thth minute. Though ot was a great shot Astillero del Guayas's keeper Nacho González was sill able to block leaving the score board unchanged. In the 19th minute of the match RACING CLUB got a corner. Astillero del Guayas's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Lautaro Frigo ran over to the corner to take the kick. 22 minutes into the game, Amin Kurd cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Ambrosio Tancredo was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Lautaro Frigo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 25th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 28th minute Ulizes Sola shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ambrosio Tancredo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ambrosio Tancredo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ulizes Sola in the 33rd minute of play. Lino Pero hit a great freekick 35 minutes into the match. 36 minutes into the match, Amin Kurd notched a goal, 1-2, to the right of RACING CLUB's Ambrosio Tancredo. Ambrosio Tancredo was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Lautaro Frigo was the one to do the kick off. In the 55thth minute of the game Mattias Svan who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but RACING CLUB's Ambrosio Tancredo was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. With an all-out effort, Astillero del Guayas's Ambrosio Tancredo threw himself towards the right post 57 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Gustav Vinström, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. In the 78th minute Lautaro Frigo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nacho González saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 78 minutes into the game, Lautaro Frigo cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-2. Nacho González was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 80 minutes into the match, RACING CLUB's goal looked a bit too open when Mattias Svan came free, but Ambrosio Tancredo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
