In the 10th minute of the match, Xantalen Acebedo tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Juan-Carlos Bravo saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Marcelo Oromi recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 13th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 14th minute, Marcelo Oromi got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Juan-Carlos Bravo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Thiago de Andrade, who was totally free with the ball in the 19th minute. Galería del Gol's Juan-Carlos Bravo proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 21st minute of the match, managed to save Galería del Gol from getting a goal against them. 22 minutes into the match, Garrido Murrillo had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Agostinho Prestes. Gualaceo FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Garrido Murrillo was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. In the 29th match minute, Galería del Gol was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bran Gualda to maneuver through the defense. Xaver Guevara fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Agostinho Prestes having to interfere. In the 34th minute Garrido Murrillo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Agostinho Prestes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Xaver Guevara struck a weak shot in the 38th minute. Agostinho Prestes didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Galería del Gol. In the 40th minute, Marcelo Oromi made a precise shot to the right of Juan-Carlos Bravo. Galería del Gol's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. In the 44th minute Xantalen Acebedo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Juan-Carlos Bravo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Garrido Murrillo stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Juan-Carlos Bravo came out of the goal in the 55th minute to try and stop a shot by Gualaceo FC's Marcelo Oromi. But to his dismay, Marcelo Oromi quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. 60 minutes into the match, Thiago de Andrade had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Juan-Carlos Bravo. Galería del Gol's Juan-Carlos Bravo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marcelo Oromi in the 75th minute of play. After 78 played minutes Galería del Gol got a freekick which was hit by Roldan Gian. When Roldan Gian fell near the penalty area in the 80th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Galería del Gol's protests and gave Roldan Gian a yellow card for diving instead. Gualaceo FC's Alvaro Hormaza was substituted for Osvaldo Olivos. A collision led to Galería del Gol getting a freekick after 81 minutes play. Roldan Gian hit a great ball. Juan-Carlos Bravo came out of the goal in the 85th minute to try and stop a shot by Gualaceo FC's Xantalen Acebedo. But to his dismay, Xantalen Acebedo quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-1. Juan-Carlos Bravo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marcelo Oromi in the 93rd minute of play. In the 96th minute Clemente Pardeo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Juan-Carlos Bravo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. There was no doubt that Gualaceo FC were the better team. Gualaceo FC's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
