Carlier Quinn F.C.'s Luis Latonero played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ayoví Costoya in the 3rd minute of play. Carlier Quinn F.C.'s Luis Latonero played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Santiago Huemen in the 23rd minute of play. A collision led to Carlier Quinn F.C. getting a freekick after 24 minutes play. Claudio Lartaun hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Santiago Huemen in the 25th minute of play forced Carlier Quinn F.C.'s goalkeeper Luis Latonero to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 28th minute Rufino Giron shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Luis Latonero saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Luis Latonero came out of the goal in the 28th minute to try and stop a shot by Club Puerto Quito's Rufino Giron. But to his dismay, Rufino Giron quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. Armando Larrieta received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 32nd minute. Luis Latonero tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Joakim Norberg hit a great freekick 37 minutes into the match. Carlier Quinn F.C.'s Luis Latonero played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Armando Larrieta in the 40th minute of play. With 41 minutes on the clock, Oliviero Quintanilla commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. Luis Latonero had in the 43rdth minute some difficulties stopping Conrado Leo's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. Disappointed in the 0-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

50 minutes into the match, Ayoví Costoya notched a goal, 0-4, to the right of Carlier Quinn F.C.'s Luis Latonero. Luis Latonero was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Luis Latonero showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ayoví Costoya in the 54th minute of the match. In the 70th minute Ayoví Costoya shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Luis Latonero saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 74th minute, Club Puerto Quito's Moreta Besosa ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Luis Latonero. Luis Latonero yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-7. The corner led Club Puerto Quito's Diego Narbona to fire away a dangerous shot which Luis Latonero despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Moreta Besosa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 80th minute. Luis Latonero tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 83rdth minute of the game Claudio Lartaun who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Club Puerto Quito's Mauricio Precioso was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. With a little luck, Carlier Quinn F.C.'s Luis Latonero got control of the ball when Urki Espino tried to sneak it across the goal line. After 87 played minutes Carlier Quinn F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Ramírez Marichalar. 88 minutes into the match, Carlier Quinn F.C.'s goalkeeper Luis Latonero had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Urki Espino. After having played for 94 minutes, Cortez Fuente managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Carlier Quinn F.C.'s supporters crossed their fingers, but Cortez Fuente was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When the match was over Club Puerto Quito could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Carlier Quinn F.C. throughout the match.
