In the 11th minute, a hard, long distance shot from Feliciano Ponce hit the top of the crossbar and flew over the goal. Barros Guau hit a great freekick 13 minutes into the match. If Iustinian Gafița had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 14th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 15th minute, Feliciano Ponce got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 25 minutes of play, CD Golozos's Barros Guau made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Agostinho Prestes was left in no man's land by his defense there! An unexpectedly hard shot by Barros Guau in the 25th minute of play forced Gualaceo FC's goalkeeper Agostinho Prestes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Gualaceo FC's Marcelo Oromi got a good chance for a goal in the 42nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Agostinho Prestes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Barros Guau, who was totally free with the ball in the 44th minute. After some careless play in the Gualaceo FC defense, Barros Guau kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Agostinho Prestes. The Gualaceo FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Agostinho Prestes should have stopped the shot.

The wind increased when Barros Guau made the kick off in the second half. Luis-Antonio Igareda kicked well hit freekick during the 50th minute of the match. In the 51st minute, Iustinian Gafița fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Agostinho Prestes, passed just outside the right post. Through an outstanding action, after 51 minutes, Agostinho Prestes successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Gualaceo FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. In the 59th minute, Feliciano Ponce made a precise shot to the right of Agostinho Prestes. Feliciano Ponce might have been able to make a better finish in the 74th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Agostinho Prestes. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Feliciano Ponce ran back to his position shaking his head. Feliciano Ponce could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 80th minute of the match, but Agostinho Prestes made a huge save. After a rather tough play, CD Golozos's Feliciano Ponce got a free kick in the 81st minute. 82 minutes into the game, Gualaceo FC's Xantalen Acebedo nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. In the 92nd minute, Iustinian Gafița fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Agostinho Prestes, passed just outside the right post. CD Golozos played a much better game than Gualaceo FC and deserved their victory. The Gualaceo FC players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
