Marcelo Oromi scored 0-1 in the 4th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of German Baraña, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Alvaro Hormaza hit a great freekick 6 minutes into the match. German Baraña showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Marcelo Oromi, who was totally free with the ball in the 11th minute. In the 13th match minute, Dioses Fc was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Unax Sans to maneuver through the defense. A collision led to Dioses Fc getting a freekick after 16 minutes play. Zavior Bargues hit a great ball. Osvaldo Olivos was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 17th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Xantalen Acebedo in the 18th minute of play forced Dioses Fc's goalkeeper German Baraña to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 20th minute, Xantalen Acebedo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Carlos Sedano sent away a hard shot on goal in the 24th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Xantalen Acebedo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 26th minute. German Baraña tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Gualaceo FC's Agostinho Prestes proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 28th minute of the match, managed to save Gualaceo FC from getting a goal against them. After a rather tough play, Dioses Fc's Alvaro Colmenares got a free kick in the 29th minute. After 30 played minutes, Gualaceo FC's Osvaldo Olivos shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper German Baraña came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Gualaceo FC reached it. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Xantalen Acebedo in the 33rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg German Baraña saved Dioses Fc from getting behind. Carlos Sedano hit a great freekick 36 minutes into the match. Osvaldo Olivos, 39 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Dioses Fc's zone, Xantalen Acebedo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. German Baraña came out of the goal and Xantalen Acebedo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 42 minutes into the match, Dioses Fc's goal looked a bit too open when Alvaro Hormaza came free, but German Baraña reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 44th minute Xantalen Acebedo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but German Baraña saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Agostinho Prestes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 47 minutes into the match, Dioses Fc's goal looked a bit too open when Marcelo Oromi came free, but German Baraña reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Xantalen Acebedo to make the kick off. In the 54th minute, Xantalen Acebedo had to be helped off the field due to a pulled leg muscle. When Zavior Bargues fell near the penalty area in the 54th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Dioses Fc's protests and gave Zavior Bargues a yellow card for diving instead. Gualaceo FC's Krikorian Congey was substituted for Xantalen Acebedo. When the match had been going on for 56 minutes, Gualaceo FC's Osvaldo Olivos got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of German Baraña. Sandro Soporta made in the 62nd minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Dioses Fc's Paiva Bonvehi. After 63 minutes, Clemente Pardeo mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Gualaceo FC and the Dioses Fc players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 63rd minute, Clemente Pardeo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 68th minute, Carlos Sedano got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Alvaro Colmenares struck a weak shot in the 73rd minute. Agostinho Prestes didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Dioses Fc. Alvaro Colmenares fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 75th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Agostinho Prestes having to interfere. In the 76th match minute, Dioses Fc was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Paiva Bonvehi to maneuver through the defense. German Baraña showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Krikorian Congey, who was totally free with the ball in the 80th minute. Gualaceo FC's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
