Marcelo Oromi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 13th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Arturo Forcada having to interfere. In the 18th minute, Marcelo Oromi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Agostinho Prestes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kasper Kesting in the 18th minute of play. In the 22nd match minute, Quinn Mendieta S. C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Vigil Manglano to maneuver through the defense. Agostinho Prestes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kasper Kesting, who was totally free with the ball in the 25th minute. In the 26th minute of the match, Vigil Manglano got a very nice opportunity to score, but Agostinho Prestes was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Vigil Manglano could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 31st minute of the match, but Agostinho Prestes made a huge save. After 31 played minutes Gualaceo FC got a freekick which was hit by Osvaldo Olivos. 34 minutes had been played when some careless play by Gualaceo FC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Cole John was slow to take the kick. During this time Quinn Mendieta S. C.'s players had a chance to rest. If İlhan Keykubad had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Xantalen Acebedo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Arturo Forcada having to interfere. Agostinho Prestes was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but İlhan Keykubad showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-0 in the 45 minute of play. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

An unexpectedly hard shot by Kasper Kesting in the 94th minute of play forced Gualaceo FC's goalkeeper Agostinho Prestes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. There was no doubt that Quinn Mendieta S. C. were the better team. Quinn Mendieta S. C.'s players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
