Oxarra Bernaldo made a great header on C. D. Guayaquil's corner, it was just that SEMILLERO SUSUA UD's Felix Perdiz managed to reach the ball for a save. C. D. Guayaquil's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Oxarra Bernaldo in the 5th minute. Felix Perdiz had in the 10thth minute some difficulties stopping Zabal Arellano's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. Felix Perdiz made an important save on a dangerous shot by Leo Løhr in the 11th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Zabal Arellano in the 13th minute of play forced SEMILLERO SUSUA UD's goalkeeper Felix Perdiz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Oxarra Bernaldo in the 13thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Felix Perdiz, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Oxarra Bernaldo struck a weak shot in the 14th minute. Felix Perdiz didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for C. D. Guayaquil. Aires Cendegui took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hugo Labastida, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 28 minutes into the match, SEMILLERO SUSUA UD's goalkeeper Felix Perdiz had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Perrando Urive. After 29 minutes, Leo Løhr made it 2-0 with a short kick to the right side. SEMILLERO SUSUA UD's Felix Perdiz tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. The supporters of C. D. Guayaquil booed when SEMILLERO SUSUA UD was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 34 match minutes in a wonderful position. Telmo Archimbaud didn't get a good kick on the ball. 38 minutes into the game, Leo Løhr cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-0. Felix Perdiz was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 41st minute, Rúben Costa got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After a rather tough play, SEMILLERO SUSUA UD's Chatruc Roces got a free kick in the 42nd minute. The crowd rose to their feet as C. D. Guayaquil's Leo Løhr slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Felix Perdiz. That made the score 5-0 after 46 minutes of play. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 5-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Cristian Luina stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After some fancy dribbling in the 52nd minute, Zabal Arellano managed to get in a good position for a shot. C. D. Guayaquil's supporters rose to their feet, but Zabal Arellano was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Felix Perdiz breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Cristian Luina in the 53rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Aires Cendegui prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 57th minute, Perrando Urive hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 62 minutes into the match, Leo Løhr notched a goal, 6-0, to the right of SEMILLERO SUSUA UD's Felix Perdiz. Felix Perdiz was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. An unexpectedly hard shot by Oxarra Bernaldo in the 65th minute of play forced SEMILLERO SUSUA UD's goalkeeper Felix Perdiz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some careless play in the SEMILLERO SUSUA UD defense, Perrando Urive kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Felix Perdiz. The SEMILLERO SUSUA UD fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Felix Perdiz should have stopped the shot. Felix Perdiz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Oxarra Bernaldo in the 72nd minute of the match. In the 74th minute Oxarra Bernaldo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Felix Perdiz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Cristian Luina sent away a hard shot on goal in the 75th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Zabal Arellano in the 76th minute of play forced SEMILLERO SUSUA UD's goalkeeper Felix Perdiz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Oxarra Bernaldo in the 77th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Felix Perdiz saved SEMILLERO SUSUA UD from getting behind. Cristian Luina sent away a hard shot on goal in the 82nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 89 minutes, Zabal Arellano mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the C. D. Guayaquil and the SEMILLERO SUSUA UD players grew even worse after the yellow card. Cristian Luina, 90 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. SEMILLERO SUSUA UD's Felix Perdiz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Leo Løhr in the 92nd minute of play. After a rather tough play, SEMILLERO SUSUA UD's Valentin Castaneda got a free kick in the 92nd minute. Hugo Labastida hit a great freekick 94 minutes into the match. Oxarra Bernaldo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 95th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Oxarra Bernaldo in the 97th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Felix Perdiz saved SEMILLERO SUSUA UD from getting behind. When the referee ended the match the C. D. Guayaquil players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
