Chayo F.C's Gutierrez Beneit proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 6th minute of the match, managed to save Chayo F.C from getting a goal against them. The supporters of Atlético Arenillas booed when Chayo F.C was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 6 match minutes in a wonderful position. Aires Murguia didn't get a good kick on the ball. The crowd rose to their feet as Atlético Arenillas's Chiquinho Palmeira slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Gutierrez Beneit. That made the score 1-0 after 7 minutes of play. With a little luck, Chayo F.C's Gutierrez Beneit got control of the ball when Octavio Herrera tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 14th minute, Alfredo Alagoano got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Chiquinho Palmeira in the 17th minute of play forced Chayo F.C's goalkeeper Gutierrez Beneit to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 20th minute Michael Schenkel shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Enrique Cubria saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Gutierrez Beneit made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Filiberto Merexildo in the 21st minute of play. Enrique Cubria showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alfredo Alagoano in the 28th minute of the match. The referee felt a red card was in order, 34 minutes into the game, when Erberk Tapık put in a rough tackle. After 34 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Atlético Arenillas! Atlético Arenillas:s Enrique Cubria showed great skill when he stopped Villagra Cazarez:s penalty. After a rather tough play, Atlético Arenillas's Octavio Herrera got a free kick in the 37th minute. In the 38th minute Villagra Cazarez shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Enrique Cubria saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 41 played minutes Chayo F.C got a freekick which was hit by Ivan Irulegui. The supporters of Atlético Arenillas booed when Chayo F.C was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 42 match minutes in a wonderful position. Barros Buscando didn't get a good kick on the ball. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Enrique Cubria made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Aires Murguia in the 61st minute of play. Gutierrez Beneit came out of the goal in the 63rd minute to try and stop a shot by Atlético Arenillas's Akakios Kioubouroglou. But to his dismay, Akakios Kioubouroglou quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-0. In the 69th minute, Xacobo Coronado hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Atlético Arenillas's Enrique Cubria proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 70th minute of the match, managed to save Atlético Arenillas from getting a goal against them. Gutierrez Beneit stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Chiquinho Palmeira's shot from short distance in the 79th minute. In the 89th match minute, Chayo F.C was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by De-la-Cruz Mijares to maneuver through the defense. In the 90th match minute, Chayo F.C was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by De-la-Cruz Mijares to maneuver through the defense. After some fancy dribbling in the 91st minute, Akakios Kioubouroglou managed to get in a good position for a shot. Atlético Arenillas's supporters rose to their feet, but Akakios Kioubouroglou was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Gutierrez Beneit breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 96 minutes into the match, Akakios Kioubouroglou notched a goal, 4-0, to the right of Chayo F.C's Gutierrez Beneit. Gutierrez Beneit was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. For all the effort they put into the match, the Chayo F.C players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Atlético Arenillas.
