The supporters of Filosofía Callejera-HDP booed when Liga de Quito was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 8 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dennis Tabliega didn't get a good kick on the ball. Feliciano Ongile sent away a hard shot on goal in the 15th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Cagua Caldevila struck a weak shot in the 17th minute. Silvio Morelo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Filosofía Callejera-HDP. When Victoro Garrote came up free with the goalie in the 19th minute, the Liga de Quito fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Victoro Garrote couldn't finish the play. Victoro Garrote fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rosario Rezabal having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Liga de Quito's zone, Cagua Caldevila stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Silvio Morelo came out of the goal and Cagua Caldevila tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 33rd play minute Traian Preda came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Silvio Morelo. 2-0. Silvio Morelo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jorge Villalva in the 36th minute of play. Silvio Morelo was a little too slow when Feliciano Ongile got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 38th minute. The score was now 3-0. Feliciano Ongile sent away a hard shot on goal in the 42nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Mikolaj Soszka received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Silvio Morelo came out and tried to block the shot, but Mikolaj Soszka slotted it home off the left post making it 4-0 in the 44th minute.

In the 52nd minute, Cagua Caldevila ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Silvio Morelo was frozen by the shot and now it was 5-0. Liga de Quito's Silvio Morelo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Traian Preda in the 61st minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Liga de Quito's zone, Feliciano Ongile stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Silvio Morelo came out of the goal and Feliciano Ongile tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The audience was convinced that Traian Preda's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Silvio Morelo was relentless in the 67th minute of the game. Liga de Quito's Silvio Morelo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cagua Caldevila in the 69th minute of play. When Filosofía Callejera-HDP's Traian Preda in the 71st minute got a chance for a shot 71st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Liga de Quito's goalie prevented a goal. In the 72nd minute Cagua Caldevila shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Silvio Morelo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Silvio Morelo came out of the goal in the 73rd minute to try and stop a shot by Filosofía Callejera-HDP's Cagua Caldevila. But to his dismay, Cagua Caldevila quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 6-0. 76 minutes into the game, Traian Preda cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 7-0. Silvio Morelo was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Cagua Caldevila in the 84th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Silvio Morelo saved Liga de Quito from getting behind. Dennis Tabliega kicked well hit freekick during the 85th minute of the match. 86 minutes into the game, Cagua Caldevila cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 8-0. Silvio Morelo was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Cagua Caldevila hit a great freekick 90 minutes into the match. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Filosofía Callejera-HDP had played much better football throughout.
