In the 16th minute Michael Pardaves shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Silvio Morelo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Silvio Morelo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Michael Pardaves in the 16th minute of the match. Silvio Morelo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Michael Pardaves in the 17th minute of play. Liga de Quito's Silvio Morelo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Reinaldo Freitas in the 18th minute of play. But to his dismay, Xever Yanes quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 5-0. ...Pingue S.C....'s attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Michael Pardaves in the 24th minute. After taking down the ball on ...Pingue S.C....'s corner Michael Pardaves fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Silvio Morelo quite easily take care of the ball. After 26 minutes of play, ...Pingue S.C....'s Michael Pardaves made it 6-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Silvio Morelo was left in no man's land by his defense there! Silvio Morelo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Santi Gavilanes, who was totally free with the ball in the 29th minute. A hard shot 36 in the game by Xever Yanes from a close distance when the talented Silvio Morelo managed to make a qualified save. Liga de Quito's players were relieved. In the 37th minute Santi Gavilanes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Silvio Morelo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Thanks to some nice moves Reinaldo Freitas could shoot a difficult shot in the 38th minute, which Silvio Morelo however easily saved by the left post. In the 39th minute, Zilar Barcena hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 8-0 became the score in the 41st minute when Xever Yanes elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. 45 minutes into the game, Michael Pardaves cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 9-0. Silvio Morelo was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 9-0 at half-time.

Liga de Quito's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Santi Gavilanes was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 12-0. In the 65th minute, Santi Gavilanes ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Silvio Morelo was frozen by the shot and now it was 13-0. 14-0 became the score in the 69th minute when Reinaldo Freitas elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Silvio Morelo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Reinaldo Freitas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Santi Gavilanes took the ball and in the 77 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Silvio Morelo. Silvio Morelo dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 16-0. 80 minutes into the match, Liga de Quito's goal looked a bit too open when Díaz Principe came free, but Silvio Morelo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 81 minutes into the game, ...Pingue S.C....'s Santi Gavilanes nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Silvio Morelo made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 17-0. Silvio Morelo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Santi Gavilanes, who was totally free with the ball in the 86th minute.
