After 42 played minutes Leones Fútbol Club got a freekick which was hit by Paulo Quentin. 43 minutes into the match, Leones Fútbol Club's goal looked a bit too open when Alonzo Vera came free, but Francisco Cevallos reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Xavier Mostache fell near the penalty area in the 44th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Leones Fútbol Club's protests and gave Xavier Mostache a yellow card for diving instead. Francisco Cevallos acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 88th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Xinto Guerrez. 89 minutes into the game, one of Leones Fútbol Club:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. The referee gave DALO S.C. a penalty, 91 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Peter Aceituno, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Leones Fútbol Club's Francisco Cevallos. 2-1. In the 97th minute, Alonzo Vera hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Leones Fútbol Club fans cheered their team off the field, for while DALO S.C. had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
