An unexpectedly hard shot by Arvo Joa in the 5th minute of play forced Diablos FC's goalkeeper João Vítor de Amorim to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. João Vítor de Amorim made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hector Santiago in the 7th minute of play. In the 7th minute, Hector Santiago ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. João Vítor de Amorim was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Diablos FC's Asencio Cuffaro got a good chance for a goal in the 11th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. João Vítor de Amorim made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Camacho Molledo in the 13th minute of play. Gomez Urrea showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Reimundo Casado, who was totally free with the ball in the 15th minute. João Vítor de Amorim made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Camacho Molledo in the 17th minute of play. Gomez Urrea didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Kaviedes Arrese went, in the 21st minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. The Porvenir fans' excitement grew in the 25th match minute when Porvenir's Hector Santiago looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. João Vítor de Amorim made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hector Santiago in the 29th minute of play. João Vítor de Amorim stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Hector Santiago's shot from short distance in the 34th minute. João Vítor de Amorim made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Camacho Molledo in the 38th minute of play. 41 minutes into the match, Porvenir's goal looked a bit too open when Moises Suane came free, but Gomez Urrea reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. João Vítor de Amorim took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hector Santiago, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 44th minute Camacho Molledo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but João Vítor de Amorim saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. João Vítor de Amorim showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Guerrero Onterino, who was totally free with the ball in the 46th minute.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Kaviedes Arrese to make the kick off. 52 minutes into the match, Porvenir's goal looked a bit too open when Reimundo Casado came free, but Gomez Urrea reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 60th minute Kaviedes Arrese shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gomez Urrea saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Asencio Cuffaro's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Gomez Urrea read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 61st minute of play. Gomez Urrea showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kaviedes Arrese in the 62nd minute of the match. Porvenir's Garrido Bolide was substituted for Camacho Molledo. Diablos FC's Omar Gochicoa was substituted for Cândido Júdice. In the 68th match minute, Porvenir was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Urko Villaluenga to maneuver through the defense. Gomez Urrea made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Reimundo Casado in the 70th minute of play. After having played for 71 minutes, Asencio Cuffaro managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Diablos FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Asencio Cuffaro was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Omar Gochicoa might have been able to make a better finish in the 74th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Gomez Urrea. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Omar Gochicoa ran back to his position shaking his head. After a rather tough play, Porvenir's De-la-Cruz Echague got a free kick in the 76th minute. Gomez Urrea showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Reimundo Casado, who was totally free with the ball in the 79th minute. João Vítor de Amorim didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Garrido Bolide went, in the 80th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-3 was the resulting score. When Porvenir's Hector Santiago in the 83rd minute got a chance for a shot 83rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. In the 92nd minute Franklin Hostos shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gomez Urrea saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 96 minutes into the game, Garrido Bolide lined in a short shot 2-4 behind a frustrated João Vítor de Amorim. The Porvenir players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
