In the 7th minute, one of Calentura:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Calentura. Vacid Seralp had in the 8thth minute some difficulties stopping Wincenty Szel's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his right side, but he still managed to hold the ball Vacid Seralp was a little too slow when Wincenty Szel got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 8th minute. The score was now 1-0. Red Reign's Dawid Ratulowski played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sergen Kutsalan in the 29th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Maximo Villamarin got free with Vacid Seralp in the 30th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Maximo Villamarin's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Vacid Seralp read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 32nd minute of play. Iulian Isaicu made in the 41st minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Luciano Barreiros however managed to control.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Maximo Villamarin to strike the kick off in the second half. If Sergio Persol had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 60th minute Maximo Villamarin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vacid Seralp saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 80th minute, Lopez Portanares managed to get in a good position for a shot. Vacid Seralp made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Maximo Villamarin in the 89th minute of play. Many of Calentura's supporters were seen to leave the ground early as it became clear their team was going to lose. Calentura may have spent more time on the ball, but Red Reign were more willing to take their chances and they walked away with the win.
