An unexpectedly hard shot by Urrutia Chavarria in the 8th minute of play forced RockCity F.C.'s goalkeeper Cagua Seoane to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 10th minute Mario Dewaele shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fausto Sotres saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 16th minute, Gustavo Abaurre hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Daniel Trynda, 16 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Cagua Seoane showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Aguirre Vialpando, who was totally free with the ball in the 18th minute. When the match had gone on for 18 minutes, Urrutia Chavarria put it in 0-1 from a short distance just to the right of Cagua Seoane. Fausto Sotres made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mario Dewaele in the 24th minute of play. Daniel Trynda recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 30th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 36th minute Mario Dewaele shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fausto Sotres saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 36 minutes into the match, Siete de Octubre's goal looked a bit too open when Mario Dewaele came free, but Fausto Sotres reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Cagua Seoane came out of the goal in the 39th minute to try and stop a shot by Siete de Octubre's Urrutia Chavarria. But to his dismay, Urrutia Chavarria quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2.

54 minutes into the match, Mario Dewaele had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Fausto Sotres. Siete de Octubre's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Mario Dewaele was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-2. Fausto Sotres took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Damián Diaz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 60th minute, Fabian Reborio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The supporters of Siete de Octubre booed when RockCity F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 62 match minutes in a wonderful position. Philippe-Arnaud Matthijs didn't get a good kick on the ball. Siete de Octubre's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Aguirre Vialpando in the 67th minute. In the 68th minute, Damián Diaz made a precise shot to the right of Fausto Sotres. Siete de Octubre's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-2. In the 78th match minute, Siete de Octubre was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dennis Casanande to maneuver through the defense. Cagua Seoane was out of position in the 82 minute of play, and Urrutia Chavarria capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Urrutia Chavarria really showed his touch with that goal: 2-3. When Mario Dewaele came up free with the goalie in the 86th minute, the RockCity F.C. fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Mario Dewaele couldn't finish the play. 90 minutes into the game, Aquiles Rajo was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Siete de Octubre's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave RockCity F.C. the free kick. The supporters of RockCity F.C. booed when Siete de Octubre was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 90 match minutes in a wonderful position. Aquiles Rajo didn't get a good kick on the ball. The Siete de Octubre supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Siete de Octubre would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
