In the 15thth minute of the game Camacho Molledo who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Calentura's Vacid Seralp was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Vacid Seralp made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hector Santiago in the 19th minute of play. Gomez Urrea showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Luciano Barreiros, who was totally free with the ball in the 21st minute. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Porvenir reached it. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The audience thought a goal was coming when Hector Santiago got free with Vacid Seralp in the 50th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. An unexpectedly hard shot by Camacho Molledo in the 54th minute of play forced Calentura's goalkeeper Vacid Seralp to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 61st minute, Hector Santiago made a precise shot to the right of Vacid Seralp. Calentura's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. Porvenir made a substitution.
