The throw-in from Didiet Suprianto in the 18th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Challestone S.C.'s Segundo Frichoso. FC Philotimo's Vitomir Vutov played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Benny Snel in the 20th minute of play. Vitomir Vutov showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ismael Blanco, who was totally free with the ball in the 23rd minute. When Challestone S.C.'s Benny Snel in the 27th minute got a chance for a shot 27th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. The coaching staff of Challestone S.C. protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Yan Yuan had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 41st minute of the game. One of Challestone S.C.:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of FC Philotimo:s goal. The goalkeeper, Pepe Pancho, was totally fooled by FC Philotimo's Aryakumara Snow, who 44 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. Pepe Pancho made a fantastic save in the 47th minute, when Aryakumara Snow sent off a good shot on target. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 2-2 after a close first half.

53 minutes had been played when some careless play by Challestone S.C.'s defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Stig-Arne Valler was slow to take the kick. During this time FC Philotimo's players had a chance to rest. A nice corner shot did that Stig-Arne Valler got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Pepe Pancho quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. After having played for 55 minutes, Aryakumara Snow managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FC Philotimo's supporters crossed their fingers, but Aryakumara Snow was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Vitomir Vutov showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Benny Snel in the 57th minute of the match. Vitomir Vutov took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Benny Snel, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 64thth minute of the game Aryakumara Snow who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Challestone S.C.'s Pepe Pancho was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 66th minute, Challestone S.C.'s Benny Snel ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Vitomir Vutov. Vitomir Vutov yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 3-3. FC Philotimo's Alejandro Chorache was substituted for Edgard Donzel. Alex Capone's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Vitomir Vutov read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 71st minute of play. Efrain Fuentes blasted a shot towards the goal in the 74th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Pepe Pancho having to make a save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Efrain Fuentes in the 74th minute of play forced Challestone S.C.'s goalkeeper Pepe Pancho to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Challestone S.C.'s manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Efrain Fuentes was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 5-3. For all the effort they put into the match, the Challestone S.C. players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for FC Philotimo.
