Zé Pedro Baptista ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner led Inter de Guayaquil FC's Zé Pedro Baptista to fire away a dangerous shot which Vellito Alguerdo despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. NAGANO F.C's Vellito Alguerdo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jörn Svartengren in the 18th minute of play. In the 20thth minute of the game Jörn Svartengren who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but NAGANO F.C's Vellito Alguerdo was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Inter de Guayaquil FC's Sebastian Hellkvist proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 21st minute of the match, managed to save Inter de Guayaquil FC from getting a goal against them.
