The crowd rose to their feet as Taltum FC's Marcelo Cavenaghi slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Tenorio Reiriz. That made the score 1-0 after 8 minutes of play. When Flavio Cifuentes came up free with the goalie in the 16th minute, the Taltum FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Flavio Cifuentes couldn't finish the play. Di Le Jun could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 25th minute of the match, but Tenorio Reiriz made a huge save. Tenorio Reiriz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Flavio Cifuentes in the 26th minute of play. Tenorio Reiriz made a fantastic save in the 42nd minute, when Flavio Cifuentes sent off a good shot on target. 43 minutes in the game Emanuel Mammana did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Perlaza Lena. Flavio Cifuentes's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Tenorio Reiriz read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 45th minute of play. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

Barcelona de América's Jérémy Sarmiento was substituted for Juan Guerrero. Barcelona de América's Flavio Perez was substituted for Krišjānis Ābeļnieks. The wind increased when Flavio Cifuentes made the kick off in the second half. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Flavio Perez in the 57th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Zhang Hao Qing prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 58 minutes into the match, Taltum FC's goal looked a bit too open when Flavio Perez came free, but Zhang Hao Qing reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Taltum FC's Obregón Pardemanos was substituted for Flavio Cifuentes. In the 68th minute, Obregón Pardemanos ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Tenorio Reiriz was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-0. In the 72nd minute, Mattias Wickander hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Zhang Hao Qing took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Flavio Perez, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jaroslaw Filanowski made in the 79th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Taltum FC's Espinosa Marco. An unexpectedly hard shot by Obregón Pardemanos in the 80th minute of play forced Barcelona de América's goalkeeper Tenorio Reiriz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Tenorio Reiriz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Obregón Pardemanos in the 81st minute of play. Tenorio Reiriz didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Obregón Pardemanos went, in the 81st minute, to the upper right corner, 4-0 was the resulting score. 84 minutes into the match, Taltum FC's goal looked a bit too open when Flavio Perez came free, but Zhang Hao Qing reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A throw-in in the 94th minute of the game was made by Jaroslaw Filanowski with Flavio Perez as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. Tenorio Reiriz didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Obregón Pardemanos went, in the 96th minute, to the upper right corner, 5-0 was the resulting score. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Taltum FC fans cheered their team off the field, for while Barcelona de América had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
