Marco Recio came out and tried to block the shot, but Witomir Jestrimski slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 7th minute. Marco Recio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Witomir Jestrimski, who was totally free with the ball in the 10th minute. Marco Recio made an important save on a dangerous shot by Rahim Niğdeli in the 12th minute. Witomir Jestrimski received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Marco Recio came out and tried to block the shot, but Witomir Jestrimski slotted it home off the left post making it 2-0 in the 16th minute. Marco Recio was out of position in the 19 minute of play, and Rahim Niğdeli capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Rahim Niğdeli really showed his touch with that goal: 3-0. The audience thought a goal was coming when Süruri Erbaş got free with Marco Recio in the 27th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Rahim Niğdeli who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 38thth minute tested the skills of Marco Recio when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Mattias Classon made in the 42nd minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Süruri Erbaş. Marco Recio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Witomir Jestrimski in the 44th minute of play. In the 46th minute Rahim Niğdeli shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marco Recio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Rahim Niğdeli was the one to do the kick off.
