When Precioso Lopes came up free with the goalie in the 22nd minute, the Cartagena FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Precioso Lopes couldn't finish the play. 23 minutes into the match, Celedonio Casar dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Tulio Cejudo, 1-0. Cartagena FC's Celedonio Casar got a good chance for a goal in the 28th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Thanks to some nice moves Felo Belo could shoot a difficult shot in the 91st minute, which Lucian Natos however easily saved by the left post. Cartagena FC's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
