After having played for 3 minutes, Claudio Barral managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Puechag's supporters crossed their fingers, but Claudio Barral was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Valente Cueli kicked well hit freekick during the 4th minute of the match. Claudio Barral fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 5th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Santxol Axeitos having to interfere. 8 minutes into the match, Sonvista FC's goal looked a bit too open when Claudio Barral came free, but Santxol Axeitos reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Sonvista FC's Joaquim Gayoso suffered a sore thigh after 15 minutes and couldn't finish the game. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Nisio Abastas during the 15th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Puechag's Nisio Abastas got a free kick in the 16th minute. The long shot by Cristian Arnao in the 17th minute really tested Manu Diz's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. 20 minutes into the game, Quintun Hiriart was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Puechag's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Sonvista FC the free kick. In the 20th match minute, Puechag was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Quintun Hiriart to maneuver through the defense. Valente Cueli sent away a hard shot on goal in the 23rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Santxol Axeitos made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Claudio Barral in the 26th minute of play. Ortle Arzuriaga recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 35th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Gero Toro struck a weak shot in the 36th minute. Manu Diz didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Sonvista FC. After having played for 38 minutes, Gines Ribera managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Sonvista FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gines Ribera was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Ortle Arzuriaga received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 40th minute. Manu Diz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a little luck, Puechag's Manu Diz got control of the ball when Ortle Arzuriaga tried to sneak it across the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ortle Arzuriaga got free with Manu Diz in the 45th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Santxol Axeitos showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Claudio Barral, who was totally free with the ball in the 48th minute. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The supporters of Puechag booed when Sonvista FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 53 match minutes in a wonderful position. Senen Añe didn't get a good kick on the ball. Felipo Mendizabal struck a weak shot in the 54th minute. Santxol Axeitos didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Puechag. A collision led to Sonvista FC getting a freekick after 78 minutes play. Ekaitz Cerrabe hit a great ball. When Claudio Barral came up free with the goalie in the 81st minute, the Puechag fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Claudio Barral couldn't finish the play. With a little luck, Sonvista FC's Santxol Axeitos got control of the ball when Rogerio Cerecedo tried to sneak it across the goal line. Claudio Barral received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 86th minute. Santxol Axeitos tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Neither set of supporters seemed pleased with the draw, but both teams had played equally well today.
