The supporters of Gionacional booed when Peque FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 18 match minutes in a wonderful position. Benet Echevarria didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Moise Maza had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Marcellin Swift in the 44th minute of play forced Peque FC's goalkeeper Nicholas Sotillo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Benino Ocaliz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 45th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-0.

The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Baltasar Capitillo during the 80th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Gionacional getting a freekick after 80 minutes play. After some fancy dribbling in the 90th minute, Benino Ocaliz managed to get in a good position for a shot. Peque FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Benino Ocaliz was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ariel Caldeiro breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Peque FC were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest.
