In the 20th match minute, Curumani FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Karmel Barreto to maneuver through the defense. Eduino Falavarte showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mauricio Torrecillas in the 25th minute of the match. In the 26th minute, Severino Barcelo left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Curumani FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Puntetigre's Menendo Ribadas got a good chance for a goal in the 29th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 30 minutes into the game, Sal Carcedo was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Curumani FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Puntetigre the free kick. A collision led to Curumani FC getting a freekick after 31 minutes play. Sal Carcedo hit a great ball. In the 31st minute, Urtsin Teijon sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Curumani FC's Cambranes Foubelo didn't even have to move. With a little luck, Curumani FC's Cambranes Foubelo got control of the ball when Peruanton Fontoria tried to sneak it across the goal line. Peruanton Fontoria who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 39thth minute tested the skills of Cambranes Foubelo when he managed to save the team from getting behind. After 41 minutes of play, Puntetigre's Menendo Ribadas made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Cambranes Foubelo was left in no man's land by his defense there! Cambranes Foubelo was a little too slow when Menendo Ribadas got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 46th minute. The score was now 2-1. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Eduino Falavarte tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 62nd minute Severino Barcelo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eduino Falavarte saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 64 minutes, Mauricio Torrecillas made it 2-2 with a short kick to the right side. Puntetigre's Eduino Falavarte tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Severino Barcelo was extremely unlucky when he, in the 70th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. Mauricio Torrecillas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eduino Falavarte having to interfere. Peruanton Fontoria's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Cambranes Foubelo read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 74th minute of play. Curumani FC's Severino Barcelo managed to work through Puntetigre's defense and was going for an easy goal, but he hit the shot with his toe and the ball flew outside the goal. Severino Barcelo dejectedly held out his arms as if to ask why the ball hadn't gone in. Severino Barcelo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 81st minute. Eduino Falavarte tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Zavior Mones received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 83rd minute.
