Seating: 1723, VIP seats: 3) FENIX´S's Jatsu Povia started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Jatsu Povia sent away a hard shot on goal in the 5th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 8th minute, Elia Salvado got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Bonaire FC's zone, Vidal Termiñoso stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Xines Apellaniz came out of the goal and Vidal Termiñoso tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 12 minutes into the match, Rufio Giron had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Gai Gamez. FENIX´S's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Rufio Giron was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Pastor Nobajas hit a great freekick 15 minutes into the match. Jatsu Povia received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 19th minute. Xines Apellaniz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to Bonaire FC getting a freekick after 22 minutes play. Jacinto Beneit hit a great ball. The attack was good, but when Rufio Giron in the 26th minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. In the 28th minute the ball was on its way in behind FENIX´S's goalkeeper Gai Gamez, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in FENIX´S's zone, Elia Salvado stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gai Gamez came out of the goal and Elia Salvado tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The audience was convinced that Rufio Giron's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Gai Gamez was relentless in the 31st minute of the game. Xines Apellaniz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jatsu Povia, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jacinto Beneit hit a great freekick 34 minutes into the match. Xines Apellaniz made a fantastic save in the 35th minute, when Vidal Termiñoso sent off a good shot on target. In the 40th minute the ball was on its way in behind Bonaire FC's goalkeeper Xines Apellaniz, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Vidal Termiñoso struck a weak shot in the 41st minute. Xines Apellaniz didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for FENIX´S. If Vidal Termiñoso had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 48 minutes into the match, Bonaire FC's goal looked a bit too open when Jatsu Povia came free, but Xines Apellaniz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Rufio Giron made a kick off. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Elia Salvado couldn't finish the play. Vidal Termiñoso received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 66th minute. Xines Apellaniz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jatsu Povia took the ball and in the 67 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Xines Apellaniz. Xines Apellaniz dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. A collision led to FENIX´S getting a freekick after 70 minutes play. Marco Viesca hit a great ball. The supporters of FENIX´S booed when Bonaire FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 74 match minutes in a wonderful position. Timo Ruisuarez didn't get a good kick on the ball. The audience was convinced that Vidal Termiñoso's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Xines Apellaniz was relentless in the 75th minute of the game. Jatsu Povia blasted a shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Xines Apellaniz having to make a save.
