The supporters of Patasia booed when Pereira was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 3 match minutes in a wonderful position. Eloi Arevalo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Polo Marty hit a great freekick 19 minutes into the match. With a little luck, Patasia's Xavieon Doro got control of the ball when Montae Fabregas tried to sneak it across the goal line. Curcio Tarapiella's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Xavieon Doro read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 21st minute of play. In the 22nd minute, one of Patasia:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Patasia. In the 24th minute there was a penalty for Pereira. Paolo Masas stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Xavieon Doro. 1-0. Xavieon Doro stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Curcio Tarapiella's shot from short distance in the 28th minute. Curcio Tarapiella fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Xavieon Doro having to interfere. Veto Rivacoba hit a great freekick 32 minutes into the match. In the 39th minute, Montae Fabregas got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 42 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Pereira! In the 45th minute, Eloi Arevalo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

With a couple of smart ball manuevers Curcio Tarapiella in the 55th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Xavieon Doro saved Patasia from getting behind. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Paulino Zaldua during the 58th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Xavieon Doro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 66 minutes into the game, Curcio Tarapiella cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-0. Xavieon Doro was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 72nd minute, Montae Fabregas left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Pereira fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-0. In the 76th minute, Henrico Betancur hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.
